Reminder to Parents re requests for class placement

The deadline to submit requests was May 28th. Thank you to all those parents who submitted their requests to Mr. Land.

Grade 7 School Leaving Ceremony

Monday, June 28th at 1:15 pm we will hold our ceremony for our grade 7’s in our gymnasium. The event will be live-streamed and should conclude at approximately 2:30 pm, at which time students will be dismissed and as they exit the gym, the parent grad committee will distribute a yearbook and gift to each grade 7 student outside the east entrance to the school. Parents are welcome to come and take pictures with their grade 7 child outside the school. A good spot could be by the cement sign on 45th Ave W, or on the new playground. Please keep in mind the rest of the school will be dismissed at 3:00 pm.

Good Morning Maple Grove!

Please enjoy these “episodes” of Good Morning Maple Grove, our school talk show, hosted by our wonderful Acting Principal Mr. Land and assisted by his top-notch production team made up of our Kindergarten teachers (Ms. Hales, Ms. Kao, and Mrs. Phelps).  Each Friday, Mr. Land introduces a different learning pod and each pod takes us on a tour of their space.  Then two teachers from that pod join Mr. Land for an “in-depth” interview. We also have special guests from our school community join us as well. So far we have the Cherry Blossom Pod, Willow Pod, Birch Pod and Cedar Pod. PAC Annual General Meeting (AGM)

We hope you can join us at our PAC Annual General Meeting!

Date: Wednesday, June 9th, 2021
Time: 7:30pm
Where: Virtual over Zoom

This will be our last meeting for the current school year. On the agenda is a year in review as well as a look ahead. We will be voting on the budget and incoming Executive Officers for the 2021/2022 year. The planned agenda for our AGM is available on our 2020-2021 Meeting Minutes Page.

For voting purposes, we will need to ensure participants are eligible members of the PAC. So we do ask that you RSVP for the AGM and we will send you the Zoom details. Please RSVP by emailing us at themaplegrovepac@gmail.com with your name, your child’s name, and your child’s division.
