MG Staff would like to thank all of you for continuing to be vidulent completing the daily health checks of your child. More than ever, it’s important to continue to complete the daily assessment as we enter the flu season.

Late last week the provincial health authority changed the symptoms of the daily health assessment. This was done to “allow” for more students to attend school and has been the subject of media scrutiny this week.

We have posted the new daily health assessment form below. Please know that from a school perspective nothing has changed. We insist that parents do not send sick children to school regardless of Covid or not. Students who are displaying signs of illness or sickness will be sent home regardless of Covid. It is unhygienic to send students with runny noses, coughs, sore throats or headaches to school.

More than ever error on the side of caution and follow proper cough/cold etiquette as we approach flu season.
