Thank you to all the bike to school/work week participants!  Despite the rather variable weather, we had a great turnout.  It was wonderful to have people ride their bikes to school who had never done it before.  A special thank you to Vicky, Tina, Imo, Michelle and Nicole from Division 2 and Lina from Div 1 for their help in signing students/staff in and giving out stickers and prizes.

A special Thank you to West Point Cycles (6069 West Boulevard) for their very generous donation of four gift certificates.  We had four draws: one for all staff riders, (Mrs Garrod), two for all student riders (Harrison Sayer and Mya Hall) and one for those who rode each day of Bike to School/Work week (Hester Aveline).  Congratulations!

The three girls from Div. 12 and Div. 17 shared a passion of cooking simple, tasty and healthy food together and had a lot fun participating the Contest. Their Roasted Baby Potatoes with Sesame Seeds recipe is awarded People’s Choice Prize in the Youth category!  Our school won a matching money prize!  The video also received an honourable mention from the judges! You will see it listed twice on the winner page  of Better Together BC or on Youtube

Thank you for voting for their video! They will continue to make more recipes and help fund raising for our school.
