Happy New Year!

Welcome back everyone.  We have a few changes to our staff for 2017:

Division 8:  Jas Gill is back from her maternity leave.  She and teaching partner, Jessica Chelak, are taking over from Heidi Kimmick. Some of you may remember Jessica from Kiara Yeung’s class from October of last year.   Welcome Jessica!

Division 12:  Debbie Lam has begun her maternity leave and Heidi Kimmick has taken over for her.  We are happy to have Heidi remain at Maple Grove!

Resource:  Ruth Ann Ginther has added Monday to her schedule at Maple Grove – for Sonya Serbic.

ATTENTION ALL MAPLE GROVE FAMILIES!

We are getting all the details in place for our First Lunar New Year Festival on Friday, Jan 20th from 6 – 8:30pm and we are looking for your help and expertise!  We need volunteers for the usual jobs…. Set up, food, admissions, games and clean up!  We need YOU!!  :)

There will soon be a form coming home to purchase tickets for this new and exciting event!  Please return as soon as possible so we know how many Maple Grove families to expect!  It is going to be AMAZING!  We have some very exciting surprises for all!  We have a maximum capacity for the gym so please don’t delay because we may SELL OUT!!!

Flower Fundraiser

BEAUTIFUL START TO THE LUNAR NEW YEAR

This is a beautiful Chinese tradition that will fill your house with beauty and fragrance, and support your PAC at the same time!

PAC will be sending home orders forms early next week for our new Lunar New Year flower fundraiser!

There are a limited numbers so please get your order in quickly.

The kit will contain 3 bulbs, a decorative glass container, ribbon, detailed instructions and our gratitude.

Division 11

A few weeks ago, some of the girls in Ms Hales’ class began playing “hair salon”.  The other day, one of the girls found an efficient way to do more than one hairstyle at a time.  Ms Hales is planning on visiting their salon once they perfect cutting and colouring.  Enjoy!
