“Stupid” is not an acceptable word.
It has come to my attention that there is a U tube video clip being viewed which makes fun of a kindergarten child getting a math question wrong and the observers calling him “stupid”. The humour in this is questionable. I hope that if we hear our children use this word in relation to another individual or about themselves we can discourage them both from using the word and from the kind of thinking it indicates.

Global Citizenship Club Bake Sale
Our two-day bake sale was a great success with $565 raised. The money will be donated to help the families in the Amazon region of Ecuador through the Free the Children – Adopt a Village campaign.
Thank you to families who baked such wonderful goodies.
Garden Club Earth Day Event: Garden With a Friend
Members of the Garden Club went out to the playground and found a friend to join us in planting seeds for future flowers! We planted sunflowers, chamomile, beets, carrots, rhubarb, lupines and more!
Track Meet Participation

We have a great turnout for track this year with a team of close to 60 students. Unfortunately, we do not have enough drivers to bring all members of our Junior and Senior team to all the track meets.
If students wish to attend the track meets they must arrange their own rides to and from the track meet locations. Students who provide volunteer drivers are automatically included in all the track meets.
If you can volunteer to drive please send a note to Ms. S. Wong (via your child or drop off in her mailbox in the office) that includes:
- Your child’s name, grade, division
- Your phone number
Thank you!
You are invited to The Magee Mainstage musical:
