snowdrops  HAVE A LOVELY SPRING BREAK

Heritage Fair

What a wonderful event this was. Thank you to all the teachers, especially Mr. Munk who organized this. Also thank you to Janet Miller and her team of adjudicators. We will be able to announce the students who will be going to the Regional Fair after Spring break. Students who think they might be selected and who would like to go should save their project boards.

PAC

1) Many thanks to all who came out for our movie night to watch Big Hero 6. Judging by the full gym and the endless laughter, it was a big success!

And a special thanks to the parents who helped with organization, set-up, and clean-up of this event–your time and effort is much appreciated!

This event raised $526 for the school’s technology fund–THANK YOU.

2) Tax receipts have arrived from the VSB for donations received in 2014. These are being sent home this week.

3) Our next PAC meeting is scheduled for March 31st at 7pm in the library. We will have Dr. Joy Alexander, our VSB trustee liaison join us. Please come to meet her and bring any questions you have!

4) Wishing you a lovely and enjoyable spring break!

School Organization and Parent Requests

We are just beginning to look at the school organization for next year. Information from parents is valued as we try to determine the best class for each child and group of children. If you would like to make a request please do the following: talk to your child’s current teacher first; write a letter or email to me making your request in terms of the educational environment and teaching style which you think would best suit your child. Such requests should come to me before April 30th 2015.
