Violent Video Games
Once again I want to mention that a few students are accessing inappropriate material through video games, the Internet etc. Please monitor your children’s exposure to such things. You might like to check out this link which talks about the effect of violent video games.
GRADE 7
Please check the link below to see information about mini-schools. Grade 6 parents might also like to check this out with the caveat that things do change from year to year.

Global Citizenship Club
The Global Citizenship Club is still collecting canned food for the We Scare Hunger campaign until Tuesday, November 4. Despite our publicity with this project, some classes are majorly lacking in donations. A reminder that we need 10 classes to fill their boxes minimum for it to even get picked up by the Food Bank. Although we don’t yet have enough canned food, we would still like to thank you for your continued support in our first campaign.
Sincerely, Ben M., Global Citizenship Club

In the library Ms Hales and Mrs. Tornroos used their amazing literary and dramatic skills to make books come to life for our primary students. Thank you Mrs. Tornroos for organizing this annual celebration of reading.
