Choir

Choir will start formal practice on Fridays with the first one being on November 7th in the open area upstairs. A smaller group may meet on Wednesday before that. Peggy Hua will continue as our choir director. Some children came to the meeting yesterday and they will have taken a letter home. Others may pick up a letter from the office. The cost is $30 towards the cost of music purchases and other incidentals. Thank you to PAC who supports this financially. Thank you also to the parents who volunteer to help with this.

Hello Maple Grove Families!

We are excited to let you all know that we have some spaces open at Arbutus Kids World Society After School Care!

Here at Kids World we offer a safe, fun, social and inspiring program for children from Kindergarten to grade 7. We pick up from Maple Grove at 3:00 Monday to Friday and we take the children back to Kids World where they enjoy a nutritious and delicious snack and from there move in to activities planned by our amazing staff team. There is always something fun going on at Kids World and the activities range from baking, sports and art to acting, jeopardy and even, on Fridays some video game or movie time!

When holidays are approaching we get the children involved in all sorts of related activities and quite often put on shows for all the parents and caregivers. There are always fun and interesting things happening at Kids World!

The cost is $425.00 per month and we are also open on school closure days for an added $25.00 per day fee. We are open until 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Kindergarten Registration for September 2015

Kindergarten Registration Time is Coming Soon – What do Parents Need to Know?

Kindergarten registration gets going district wide between November and January 31 for children that will begin school the following September. The Vancouver School Board is proud to offer excellent instruction at all of our schools including a wide range of educational options for all different types of learners.

We encourage families to get to know more about your catchment school and what they have to offer your child. Registration at your English catchment school is required even if you plan to register your child in a choice program.
