GRADE 7 CELEBRATION

Parents and families of our Grade 7 students are invited to attend the ceremony and celebration. All members of staff and their families are also invited and warmly welcomed to the ceremony and celebration.

It will be held at the Hellenic Community Centre at 4500 Arbutus Street. This is at the Greek Orthodox Church on Arbutus Street. Please see the map below.

10:30 am               Grade 7  Students arrive at Hellenic Centre. Dress is formal/semi-formal

10:45 am               Rehearsal

12:30 pm               Doors open for guests. Please bring your “pot luck” contribution of appetizers or desert. (Note that this is a finger food event) You will be directed where to put your contribution.

12:45 pm              Students assemble for their entrance into the auditiorium

12:50 pm              Guests are to be seated

1:00 pm                Ceremony begins

2:30 – 3:45 pm    Community Celebration, photographs, refreshments

4:00 – 5:30 pm    Volunteers set up for student party

5:45 – 6:00 pm    Students arrive

6:00 – 10:00 pm    Student party. (Parent volunteer and admin chaperones). Students are expected to stay at the party in the Hellenic Centre until 10:00 pm unless picked up by their parents before that. Parents are expected to pick up their children at or before 10:00 pm. Students are to check in with Mrs. Sellars or Ms Zeitz before leaving. Emergency contact if necessary: 604 290 3358.
