October 28th Hallowe’en Update

The Global Citizenship Club will be selling GlowStars to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.   The money raised will help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and offer hope, strength and joy. We are asking for a minimum donation of $3.  Stars will be sold before and after school outside the office, Monday through Thursday.  They are a perfect way to make your child more visible while trick or treating on dark streets, and to give to deserving children.

October 28th to November 8th

We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank before and after school next week. Students and staff are encouraged to bring donations to help hungry families in Greater Vancouver. We will have donation boxes outside the school office all week. The Food Bank suggests items such as bags of rice, beans, canned fruit and vegetables, whole wheat pasta, canned meats and fish and low-sugar cereals. We appreciate any help that you can give. This project is proudly sponsored by the Global Citizenship Club.

Reminder re Fireworks

Students are not allowed to bring fireworks to school.
