Musical

It almost seems like Maple Grove has an Arts focus sometimes and our recent musical was an example of this. Students in Division 1, 4 and 6 performed “Choices Count”. They did this with amazing skill and enthusiasm. I watched it three times and it improved with every performance. Thank you so much to those students and to the teachers, Mrs. Humeniuk, Ms Yeung and Ms Plavan who gave us such wonderful entertainment liberally laced with food for thought.

Spring Garage Sale

A reminder to bring gently used books or toys to donate to our Garage Sale.  Please drop off donations to Room 206 any time next week, the sale will take place on May 31.  Proceeds will go towards Destination Imagination.  Thank you very much for your support!

Talent Show

Entries for the talent show are now closed. Students should be ready to audition in the coming week or so.

Summer School

You will need your child’s Personal Education Number  (PEN) in order to register.  They have been given a label with the PEN number. You should find it in their planner/agenda.

June Report Cards

Report cards will be sent home with your child on the last day of school, June 28th.  If your child will be absent on that day, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the office and we will mail the report card to you.   You may also send a written note to your child’s teacher giving another adult permission to pick up the report card.  Otherwise we will keep the report card for you to pick up in September.

Lost and Found

There are SO MANY shoes and coats and sweaters and boots and lunch boxes in the lost and found.  We will be donating these items to charity near the end of June, so please have a look, or ask you child to have a look, for any items you are missing.
