A letter from the Living Room Drop-In to Division 1, 2 and 16

Dear Wonderful Division 1, 2 and 16-ers:

I am so sorry I was not here yesterday to meet you and to give you a personal Thank you for your beautiful gift boxes.  ALL the staff are overwhelmed with your generosity and kindness of spirit.  For those of you who may not know, our members suffer mental and physical illnesses, many are homeless and most have no family contact.  For you to rmember them means so much.  The staff admit to reading some of your notes and we are so proud of you; you are wonderful members of your community and will be community leaders one day.

Please let us wish you the best in life along with a special holiday season.

Hello wonderful families of Maple Grove.

Can it already be December? Three and a half months of getting to know you and your children-it has been my honour AND pleasure.

I want to introduce to you 5 sites I ‘curate’ on the Internet. If you use Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/)-you know about curating!

If not, curating is basically a ‘scrapbook’ of interesting websites you collect online, all in one place! I use a site called Scoop.it (http://scoop.it/) to collect or curate a wide range of articles on education, including technology, iPads, Montessori, art and popular culture.

Please be sure to have a look and do check back as I update several times a week with the latest news and trends. Have a scoop? Would love to hear from you!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank-you for the very warm welcome to the Maple Grove. What a thriving and inspiring place this is. We are all very fortunate to be part of this special learning community.

Wishing you all a very happy holiday & a prosperous and healthy new year!

~Andrea
